Mia Direct Limited | Midlands & surrounding areas | 2-person teams

Mia Direct Limited is recruiting experienced two-person EV & Power Civils Teams across the Midlands and surrounding areas. Following continued growth and new contract opportunities, we’re expanding our teams delivering electrical infrastructure projects.

The work will predominantly involve constructing concrete bases and installing underground ducting on private land. We’re looking for reliable teams who can work independently and deliver safe, efficient, high-quality installations.

Pay and opportunities

PAYE: £30,000–£40,000 per person per year. Day rates: £180–£220 per person per day, dependent on experience. PAYE or CIS opportunities are available, with consistent work opportunities and long-term prospects.

What you’ll do

Excavate and install underground ducting for EV charging and power infrastructure.
Construct concrete bases and equipment foundations.
Carry out trenching, duct laying, backfilling and reinstatement.
Install draw pits and associated infrastructure.
Safely identify and avoid underground services.
Work from construction drawings and site specifications.
Complete site documentation, photographs and quality evidence.
Maintain excellent health, safety and workmanship standards.

Essential: both operatives must hold

A valid CSCS card.
Full NRSWA Streetworks qualifications.

Essential: at least one operative must hold

First Aid at Work (FAW): 3-day course.
NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor qualification.
Excavator/digger ticket: CPCS, NPORS or equivalent.
Locate & Avoid Underground Services: NPORS or equivalent. A SWQR-only qualification is not accepted.

Desirable qualifications and experience

EUSR SHEA Power accreditation for one or both operatives.
Previous experience in EV charging or power infrastructure.
Experience constructing concrete bases and installing electrical duct networks.
