The S7 PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation Underground (Underground Install) course equips delegates with the knowledge and skills to safely and successfully deploy cable and sub-duct within the Openreach Underground (UG) infrastructure.

Assessment will be completed in a live or simulated situation utilising the current methodology employed by the Communication Provider (CP) to install their sub-duct and/or cable. This can be mechanised or manual. A CP cable shall be installed in a minimum of 2 duct sections (3 x Joint boxes) containing Openreach network cabling.
